2015 was one of the hottest seasons on record in the valley marked with severe wildfires. Luckily cooler nights moving in to September yielded the lovely tropical notes in this Chardonnay..
Every effort was made to allow the wines elegance to shine while bracing it with enough oak and aging so that it could be served in the best restaurants in the world.
We continued with the fermentation protocol of the award winning 2013 vintage: Tank ferment and barrel aging. The barrels were not inoculated with Malolactic Bacteria and lees left unstirred.
Only 130 cases were produced making each bottle worth collecting and appreciating as the art that it is.
